The Pencil box is an ordinary, familiar object whose appearance and functionality have been re-imagined. The design incorporates a hexagonal groove subtracted from the surface that enables a pencil to slide in and function as a lock. It’s an excellent example of contemporary craft executed in an unobtrusive way.
