The BioLite CampStove uses thermoelectric energy to heat itself as well as produce power to charge your gadgets. A thermoelectric generator converts the heat into fire and into electricity, allowing you to power most things that connect via USB while boiling water or cooking a meal. It usually takes only 4.5 minutes to boil 1 liter of water and 20 minutes of phone charging can equal up to 60 minutes of call time. Collect pine cones, sticks, or anything small and wooden to use as fuel and you are on your way. With an affordable price tag of $129, this stove isn’t just ideal for camping, but is also used in developing countries to give families a cheap source of energy. BioLite does not require any gas to use.
