Circle sofa experiments with the fundamental shape of the circle, creating new configurations by segmenting the form. Circle consists of four parts, two of which combine to make a semicircle. The sofa divides into three parts, which when reconfigured provide various seating combinations and spatial compositions. The height of the back rests of each section remains constant, while its angle and joining seat oscillate between deep and shallow as the seat length modulates. The slope of the back facilitates sitting in a comfortable upright position towards the ends while the middle encourages more relaxed positions.
