Berlin design team Claudia Köhler and Irmy Wilms designed Essential for Auping. With its sensitive balance of size and organic forms, the Essential bed gives off a clear, attractive appearance and thus suits a variety of different interiors. Its aluminum feet and sides can be assembled very easily while the bed head, made of wood and plastic, slots into the top quite effortlessly. Durable and affordable, the Essential bed also received the Cradle to Cradle Silver certificate for its high degree of ecological compatibility.
