Clearly taken by the discovery of a small chair in the backroom of an old pub, Seifried especially appreciated its extraordinary folding mechanism that turned it into something special. Today, Seifried has named his chair Mash and has stripped away its original American military feel with the use of modern materials. With its colored trim, weatherproof polyester net fabric, solid oak armrests and outdoor powder-coated steel frame, this elegant interpretation of first-generation “camping” chairs is a clear success.
