Originally created in 1934 by renowned designer Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, Zig-zag has been chosen by furniture producer Cassina to be reincarnated for 2013. The simple yet ingenious chair is made of solid wood, available in natural cherrywood or ash wood finishes. Ash is also used for the available blue, red, yellow, white and black stained finishes, which leave the edges of the chair natural to accentuate the beautiful woodgrain.
