Nendo’s scatter shelf is composed of 5mm black acrylic shelves in a gridded pattern that is stacked in layers. The objects placed on the shelves appear as if they are caught in a spider’s web when they are viewed from the front. The shelves are slightly displaced so when viewed on an angle the beautiful glossy acrylic survice reflects within the shelves so the acrylic appears to be transparent. The reflections create a kaleidoscope-like effect when someone passes behind it. This sleek storage furniture with parallel, horizontal and vertical supports enables the user to can place his or her possessions on the piece from all angles.
