Designer Tokujin Yoshioka has designed a world-class piece of trash. What looks suspiciously like a gigantic, crumpled up piece of aluminum foil is actually an artistic endeavor for the Italian furniture company Moroso. The Memory chair is created from a material derived from recycled aluminum that is draped like a dome over a chair. When someone sits in the chair, it conforms in appearance and shape according to the body of the sitter. Until a new person takes a seat in the metamorphing chair, it will remember their impact on its shape until the next memory is made between the seat and the seated.
