Ever since 1860, Tag Heuer has successfully embraced a number of contrasting elements: heritage and innovation, prestige and performance, sport and glamour. Today, we are the world’s 4th largest luxury watch brand, always pushing the boundaries of watchmaking technology with the creativity of our staff, the range of their expertise and the depth of their experience.
In 1887, Edouard Heuer made history with the oscillating pinion. For our 150th anniversary, we have given it new life and re-engineered it in-house, to create the Calibre 1887. In 1964, Jack Heuer himself designed the Carrera series, in honor of the ‘Carrera Panamericana Mexico’, history’s most grueling automobile endurance race.
The new Carrera Calibre is powered by TAG’s new Calibre 1887 chronograph movement, which uses 320 components to ensure accuracy and longevity. Features include a scratch-resistant sapphire back to allow for a good look at the movement, three separate counters on the face, a leather or metal band, and luminescent hour and minute hands.
