The Duemilaotto, designed by Piero Lissoni, is a completely eco-friendly kitchen system by Boffi that emphasizes the beauty of using natural materials in interiors. Lissoni uses a combination of natural materials such as stone tile, reclaimed wood and solid wood to contrast with man-made materials such as stainless steel and Corian. The clean lines of the design emphasizes the materials for a natural overall look. The solid Acacia wood is heat-treated but not stained to show off the irregularities in the grain, while the tiles applied to the hood and some surfaces are crafted by artisans. The extractor hood uses an innovative system and is complemented by stainless steel legs. The kitchen contains tall storage unites that are designed to provide convenience with handy drawers, pull-out shelves, internal lighting and compartments made for electrical appliances. The interiors are available in anthracite grey, or graphite grey oak with a wood effect. This kitchen system is gracefully environmentally aware and displays contrasts between materials beautifully.
