Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet has launched new products for Kartell, including a table lamp called Light Air and a set of vases named Shine, where he explores transparency and emptiness.
Shine is a collection of vases that are “a game between light and form. An idea beyond crystal.” The textured vases are made of PMMA transparent plastic and are named I SHINE, U SHINE, HE SHINE, and SHE SHINE. The forms, which can only be achieved with plastic, play with light where there is open space.
Inspired by art-deco, these modern vases boast bold geometric shapes that project both high style and luxury. Create a large display or let the vase blend in with a room’s decor with its translucent quality. Its eye-catching good looks will complement a wide range of modern home decors, and its plastic composition is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
