The Softwall bed by Piero Lissoni is a shipwreck of comfortable proportions. Likened to a ship surrounded by a “sea” of soft perimeter encapsulating the sleep space, this design is uniquely set apart from the zillions of bed frames constructed out of traditional, hard materials. Though the Softwall does contain a steel frame hidden in the plush headboard, it is padded with cold-expanded polyurethane foam and covered with a layer of prewashed and sterilized goose down- never compromising its soft appearance.
The surrounding frame is supported by double-panelled poplar and pine with polyurethane foam padding, covered with acrylic fiber layers.
Designed by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani, the Softwall comes with either a leather or fabric cover, both fully removable. Further details and inquiries can be requested from Living Divani.
