Spanish designer Jaime Hayon has extended his collection of Tudor designs to include this tall occasional cabinet. The Tudor period and its associations with culture, opulence and bold visual iconography first impressed Hayon after his move to London. This inspiration led him to create a series of objects that were; ‘In a way a little heavy, a little medieval, with contrasts and good materials.’ Bold, geometric shapes, reminiscent of Tudor iconography, are a key feature of the cabinet that is a typically creative design from Hayon. The cabinet is constructed from wood with inserts of colored, beveled glass in its doors.
